L.V. Wood is an independent musician: classically-trained soprano, teacher, composer/arranger and director with considerable experience in solo and chamber music.
Leslee Wood possesses a light, agile voice and a clear, pure tone which is ideally suited to her major specialty: the music of the medieval, renaissance and baroque periods. In addition to her focus on early music, Leslee also enjoys performing the works of favorite later vocal composers including Benjamin Britten, Samuel Barber and Edvard Grieg.
This year, Leslee can be heard singing with the American Guild of Organists’ Schola Cantorum, the Te Deum Chamber Choir, and weekly with the St. George Choristers of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
