L.V. Wood is a composer, conductor, singer, and teacher of vocal music. Currently, she is pursuing graduate studies at the University of Kansas in Musicology.

Upcoming performances include another appearance with KC VITAs (Summer Sang in Me) in Summer 2016, Violetta Duo (Suite for Chignik), and Ancora Chorale (Prayers from the Ark: Prayer of the Lark, Prayer of the Monkey, Prayer of the Glowworm).
She is an active performer and can be heard singing with the KC VITAs Chamber Ensemble, Schola Cantorum of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Kansas City and Collegium Musicum, the early music consort of the University of Kansas. She has appeared with Te Deum Chamber Choir, the Kansas City Chapter of the American Guild of Organists Schola Cantorum, Canticum Novum, Consort, Midwest Chamber Ensemble Summer ChoralFest, and KC VITAs Chamber Ensemble. She has conducted choirs both in the United States and abroad, including the International Childrens Choir of Columbus, the China Hong Kong Mission Choirs, and various church choirs including the St. George’s Choristers of historic St. Mary’s Episcopal Church located in downtown Kansas City.
